Long before House of Flame & Fantasy became a business, it began with a love of stories.
Stories have a way of finding us when we need them most
At House of Flame & Fantasy, our love of fantasy stories goes far beyond dragons, shadow daddies, fae courts, pirates, wolf kings, and happily ever afters.
We believe reading changes lives.
For me, that belief is deeply personal.
As a child, I struggled with reading comprehension. I know what it's like to work harder than everyone else just to understand the words on a page. That experience taught me patience, perseverance, and something even more important—it taught me how powerful books can become when someone finally finds the right story
Today, I have the privilege of working with students with special needs, helping them discover confidence in themselves through learning. At home, I'm also raising a child with dyslexia, which reminds me every day that every reader's journey is unique.
Those experiences shaped not only who I am but also why House of Flame & Fantasy exists
Reading is more than entertainment.

Sometimes a fantasy novel is exactly what someone needs after a difficult day. Sometimes one incredible story is enough to turn someone into a lifelong reader.

While our store creates apparel, blankets, mugs, and gifts inspired by the worlds we love, our greater mission is to celebrate readers and encourage a lifelong love of books.
