Long before House of Flame & Fantasy became a business, it began with a love of stories.

Stories have a way of finding us when we need them most. They transport us to worlds filled with dragons, enchanted forests, shadow magic, pirates, wolf kings, and impossible adventures—but they also remind us that courage, hope, friendship, and love exist in our own world, too.

For me, reading has always been personal.

As a child, I struggled with reading comprehension. Today, I have the privilege of working with students with special needs, helping them build confidence in their own learning journeys. At home, I'm raising a child with dyslexia who reminds me every day that every reader's path is different.

Those experiences shaped not only who I am, but also why House of Flame & Fantasy exists.

This business was never just about creating apparel, mugs, blankets, and reading accessories. It was about creating a place where readers feel seen—a place where finishing a favorite book, discovering a new fantasy world, or laughing at a perfectly timed romantasy quote can be shared with people who understand.

Because reading isn't just entertainment.
